Part # 1: It means good news by Chris Priebe

The word gospel means "good news". As Christians we have something really good and exciting to talk about. If we took the illustration of being in a boat and people all around us where drowing in the water. We have good news to bring them, "Look, here is a life-preserver, grab ahold of it and you will be fine!"

Likewise, people are lost in their sin and are approaching the day when they shall be judged by God. We know how they can be saved through Jesus Christ. We call out and say, "grab ahold of Him". This is good news to a drowning person.</p>
