Part # 1: Begin by learning about Jesus by Chris Priebe

Saving faith is not something which happens overnight but is often the process of a long journey. We begin with very little faith at all and then something happens and we begin to wonder if perhaps there is a God. Over time we find ourselves asking questions and even exploring the Bible. We hear about Jesus and we become interested in Him. We like His teachings and we find that our beliefs begin to slowly change. We become convinced that He is far more than a good teacher and His teachings become more serious to us. In essence, we fall in love with Him and we begin to want to follow Him all our days. At some point we understand that He died and rose again so we can be free from the bondage of our sins and can be forgiven. We might struggle with that at first but it begins to make sense and we believe it is true. It becomes more personal where Jesus did not simply die for humanity but He died for me. Up to this point we have not made a decision to follow Him and take His gift but we have been exploring it. We now stand at the edge of cliff per say and we are challenged to take a leap of faith. For some it is like jumping into darkness, hearing only God calling them. They are afraid but they trust Him enough to leap out and pray He catches them.
